HOW TO PREDICT

On the Predict tab, tap the two score boxes for any upcoming match and save. You can edit any prediction until the match kicks off — after kickoff the pick is locked.

Predictions are global: one set of picks covers every league you join. Each league scores them under its own rules.

POINTS PER MATCH

Fixed scoring (the default) awards per match:

  • +4Exact scoreYou predicted 2–1 and the result is 2–1
  • +2Correct outcome + matching goal differenceRight winner AND same margin (non-draws only)
  • +1Correct outcomeRight winner or draw, wrong scoreline
  • 0Wrong outcomeYou called a home win; it was a draw or away win

BRAVE PICK · +2

Call an outcome fewer than 15% of your leaguemates picked and you get a flat +2 on top — only counts when the call comes in.

ODDS MODE

Some leagues replace base points with bookmaker odds, so upsets pay bigger. Exact score adds a flat +3; right winner + goal difference adds +1. When per-score odds are on, the predict card shows the live price for whatever specific scoreline you type.

KNOCKOUT STAGE

Every knockout match (Round of 32 onward) is worth double — your base points are multiplied by ×2 before any power-up. Make it count.

Predictions score against the 90-minute regulation result. Extra-time and penalty-shootout goals don't move your pick — a 1–1 at 90 stays a 1–1 even if it ends 1–1 (4–2 pens). The team that advances is tracked separately for the bracket cascade.

Knockout cards stay locked ("TEAMS TBD") until both teams are known — R32 opens after groups, R16 after R32, and so on.

POWER-UPS

Three optional power-ups bend the formula. Each league's admin chooses which are active — apply them inline on the match card (Wildcard lives on the dashboard).

Earn 2 pts per goal your Golden-Boot pick scores in one match. One use, locks at tournament start.

Re-pick your tournament winner once after the group stage finishes. Costs a points penalty (set per league). Window closes when knockouts begin.

BONUS QUESTIONS

Pre-tournament side bets — Tournament Winner, Golden Boot, plus any extras your league enabled. Answer them once on Predict → Bonus; the answer applies to every league that scores that question.

Bonus answers lock at kickoff of the first tournament match. Points post once the question resolves.

GROUP PLACEMENT

Some leagues enable group placement — predict 1st & 2nd in each group. Resolved automatically after the group stage finishes.

TIEBREAKERS

When two or more members finish on equal points, ranking is decided by these criteria in order — moving to the next only when still tied:

  1. 1Exact scoresMost correct scorelines (e.g. predicted 2–1, it ended 2–1)
  2. 2Correct goal differenceMost predictions with the right margin but wrong scoreline (non-draws only)
  3. 3Correct outcomesMost correct win / draw / loss calls
  4. 4Top Scorer goalsGoals scored so far by the player you picked for the Golden Boot
  5. 5Tournament Winner roundDeepest knockout round reached by the team you picked to win
  6. 6Earliest memberWho joined the league first — fully deterministic, no ties possible
